Cheap and good in a pinch or if not using that often. Overall too flimsy and not made for heavy raking or too frequent.

broke within 5 minutes of light use

Got for Xmas, first time raking leaves yesterday and the the plastic spine broke within five minutes of light use. Poor quality plastic and design. The stick is also very thin and feels liks its going to break any moment. Don’t waste your money. Spend probably closerto $30 to get soemthing that will actually last.

It's okay for a few small leaves or pine/cypress needles, but it can quickly be overwhelmed.

Returning this tomorrow. Was looking for a steel rake. However, this rake is cheaper because the tines are set in plastic, and it lacks the reinforcement spring that more expensive steel rakes have. The result is that when you're trying to move a good stack of leaves, the tines are too weak to push the stack forward. I hate raking too much to mess around with this.

Great rake for the price!

I always had a big plastic rake but it broke and decided to try this one. I works great on my maple leaves.

It’s just a rake

I am not sure how to write this review. I started by setting my rake up on stage and asking it to tell me some jokes. Sadly, I was disappointed because it didn’t know any. I also had to spend a lot of time supervising as it takes my yard. I felt like I was micromanaging it but I did what I had to do to keep my yard looking nice. Honestly, it’s just a rake. Nothing spectacular or different about it. Just rakes leaves.

Cheap

For the price it will do for now. Bought 3 to have around the property! One handle was already cracked so had to repair. There is plastic near the metal prongs so don’t use in a burn pile for too long

Not for actual use

I have had this rake for awhile now, and I am not sure how I got by with it. For starters, if your leaves are wet, the tines will just go over top. You can't have too big of a pile of dry leaves because the tines will just flex. The positive side is that you can't break the handle, because the foam tines disguised as metal won't allow you to. Unless they have improved the rake I would absolutely not buy this. Maybe use it as a wall decoration if you like that sort of thing. You will be left mise...

Excellent tool

This rake can gather material throughout a large surface area. It helped me clear the leaves and debri over rocks and gravel in my back yard.

Yard Work

I purchased several rakes to complete some yard work recently and I would have to say that the Blue Hawk 20 inch yard rake was vital in completing the task.

Rake is inexpensive and not for average size yards.

Sturdy rake

Sturdy rake with a flexible but firm wooden handle. Would prefer some metal to support upper section of rake head as all-plastic design weakens over time. Seems to be a good product.
