Wood Closet Rod Brackets
Would RecommendThese brackets matched the ones our builder had used in our bedroom so it was easy to match what was there and being wood, easy to paint to match the others. If we were not matching existing brackets we might have gone with metal as we felt it might be sturdier, although this one seems to be very sturdy. Be sure and find a stud to mount to. If not NO bracket will hold a pile of heavy clothes!

Would Not Recommendas soon as you put the dowel/closet rod in this the wood holder breaks in to 2 pieces! Thought it was a bum item so used a second one with the same result. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!

Would RecommendI recently helped my sister convert an old desk bookcase into a shelf for my mother's kitchen. We used the fixed rod mount support to attach a dowel across the bottom of the shelves to create a spot for Mom to hang her towels on. The supports were easy to install and simple in design which added to the " country kind of look" of the shelves. Exactly what I had in mind when discussing the design of the piece.
