What Customers Are Saying
The planter inserts are praised for reducing soil needed in large pots, making them lighter and easier to move. Customers appreciate how the inserts raise the root system, improving drainage and preventing waterlogged roots. Many note the inserts save a substantial amount of potting soil. Overall, the inserts are described as a solution to the common problem of heavy, soil-filled planters. The only downsides mentioned are the relatively high price and limited size options, but most agree the benefits outweigh the costs.

Would RecommendI love the way I can use these to make a self watering planter. I will enlarge the big hole to accept a 1" pvc pipe, drill a weep hole just barely below the insert so that I can't overfill it and thread a cotton rope for a capillary wick. It makes life so much easier, especially in summer.

Great product!
Would RecommendI bought multiples to see which one fit the best. The only complaint is that I wish it came in black or brown so it blends better in pot.

Would RecommendI had never seen something like this before. I typically will replant my plants with self watering pots - this is what works best for me and my watering habits. But with this cool contraption I can turn any pots I have at home into self watering
