Perfect for Tall Pots

This is very sturdy and worked well in a tall pot so that I did not have to fill the entire pot with dirt. It has great drainage holes and no one would ever know you're using it instead the pot.

A Definite Necessity!

I just happened to notice this flower pot insert when I was shopping for flowers. I thought this could be a game changer in flower planting! The last time I planted a tall pot I filled the bottom half with empty water bottles. This has been great to use to reduce the amount of potting mix needed. This product significantly cuts down on your time and money. Since I currently have 51 planted pots I find this product a necessity. It works great!

Planter Insert Makes It Lighter and Saves Soil

This insert is such a great idea! By not requiring you to completely fill the pot with dirt, it makes it much lighter to move and saves on soil that is below the level of the roots. Measure both the depth of the pot and the diameter half-way down to buy the correct size.

Amazing planter insert

I have never experienced using a printer insert had always use just rocks or items from the yard to fill an extra large pot so that not to use too much potting soil this amazing planter insert is so easy. Just pop it in and away you go Lowe’s was so instrumental in helping me find the correct size for my extra large pot. They also have smaller ones that were my next purchase thank you Lowe’s!!

Nice but not cost effective

I love the idea of these but not the cost. These are too expensive for what they are and the soil fall thru the large holes to the bottom of the pot they are being used in.

Good idea. Limited sizes limit usefulness.

Bought two sizes and neither fit. Need incremental sizes and there is no way to adjust.

Planting

I used these in my buckets to help my tomatoe plants drain so water wouldn’t just sit in the bottom on the bucket

Excellent insert

This planter insert works perfectly and made filling my large planter so much easier. It reduced the amount of soil needed while still giving my flowers enough room to grow. Very lightweight but sturdy, and it helps with drainage too. Great product for anyone using oversized planters.

These are really great!

I love the way I can use these to make a self watering planter. I will enlarge the big hole to accept a 1" pvc pipe, drill a weep hole just barely below the insert so that I can't overfill it and thread a cotton rope for a capillary wick. It makes life so much easier, especially in summer.
