Cameras that require subscription

Blink cameras are great when you have a subscription only. Without the yearly subscription, they're just motion sensors. No video will be viewable. Only live view, but by the time the camera loads, the potential person that set off the sensor has already broke into the house and you have no video to prove it was them. Ok cameras

I've warmed up to these cameras now, but at first, I was ready to return them. The instructions were terrible so I went to YouTube. Unfortunately for me, I found the one guy who gave even worse instructions. It was so frustrating! I found another YouTuber who did better. But I was still having some difficulties. Doesn't function, horrible customer service.

Product was already registered to an account. I can't use it. Customer service was no help whatsoever. I'm guessing it was used and returned. Will be returning it when I am in the area.

It appears to be a 4 camera by packaging. Only comes with 2. Kinda shady. Needs to say gen 4 not outdoor 4. Sign says 5 camera system available which is even more deceitful

So so / ok for the price

The setup is easy and the cameras are ok, but even with a strong wifi connection, sync module signal, and fast internet speed, I often cannot see live view. I just get an endlessly spinning buffer icon. It's a different camera each time. If I go to another camera when one is failing, the other camera works fine. Because of that, I do not think it is my internet connection. The main issue I encountered is that one camera out of the box worked intermittently for a few hours then went offline. ...

I have used these cameras in the past and have family members that use them and have always had good luck with them. Very easy to install and use.

Terrible

Highly encourage you to save your money and go with another brand. Had these for 5 months, and they are awful! Rarely work and very limited on recording length, making them useless when they actually work.

Doesn't function properly

Purchsed to watch my car and driveway. I've had several instances where people have been in my driveway and around my car and the cameras were not triggered, even though they are set to the highest sensitivity level. Then the app auto-deleted a 1wk old clip I'd saved as evidence and the server is constantly experiencing "issues" and i can access my videos...this product is going back to the store
