Don't expect overnight results

I purchased this penetrating oil to use on a plumbing fixture. The set-screw holding the spout on my tub had corroded over time, and it was impossible to break loose "dry". I have applied this penetrant half a dozen times over a week, allowing it to soak in and drip off. So far - the set screw is still locked solid. Not a good option to break loose a plastic cap

I purchased this penetrant with the hope that it would help me loosen a plastic cap that was seized in a metal pump housing on a pressure washer pump. I suspected that it would not be a miracle solution, and it actually did little to help in my situation. I must have purchased an old can as the bolt never budged. I used most of can on a 1/2" bolt over letting it set in over many days. Still had to call a repair person to just remove the bolt.

Need to remove a stuck garden hose?

My garden hose was rusted onto the spiggot. I thought I would have to saw off the connection using a Hacksaw or maybe have to call a plumber, but it was recommended that I try PB Blaster, it worked as advertised. Within minutes or spraying this stuff on the hose twice I was able to remove the stuck hose using just a wrench. Totally worth the $6.00 I spent.

This works really well, but make sure to use it outside. Even with all the windows open I got a headache after using it.

ProStraw makes B'laster a D'Saster

As with many other customers, PB has been my go-to rust penetrant for years, but I am about to switch to a competitor because the packaging has rendered the product completely useless. The dispenser straw is awkwardly sized and fragile, and the cans often run out of propellant after dispensing only 1/2 - 3/4 of the penetrant. Disappointing to say the least.
