NO MORE JAPANESE BEETLES

Have been using this for about 6 years now and I no longer have any issues with Japanese Beetles destroying my Crepe Myrtles or my Japanese Maple Trees. Also works great on my Azaleas to control Lace bugs. Forget Spraying the bushes and trees. Use Bayer Advanced Tree & Shrub products

Systemic a Must Have

I apply this to my potted and in ground hibiscus every year in the spring. I use it mainly to prevent Japanese Beetles and for the disease control. This product alone does not control spider mites. I give it 4 stars because I prefer the older version without the fertilizer in it. I do not use the Rose and Flower version on my hibiscus because the high ratio of phosphorus in that product will stay in the soil and slowly kill hibiscus.

Bayer Concentrate

10 years ago I bought my house which had a 10' ash tree in the yard. Knowing that the emerald ash beatle was killing all the ash trees in Ohio, I attempted to keep it alive by utilizing concentrate as directed every six month. Now my ash tree is over 25 feet tall and has never lost a branch. I have the only live ash tree within miles.

Product that works

We had a Japanese Cherry blossom in our previous house that produced little to no blooms during the spring but after applying this fertilizer during its growing season we've had tremendous blooms the next year and they were beautiful pale pink flowers. It works on Japanese Beetles

We have had a problem with Japanese beetles for 3 or 4 years. Nothing stopped them until we tried Bayer tree and shrub protect and feed. Last year the beetles did not damage any of the trees and shrubs where we applied the product. I hope it works as well this year.

Excellent Product

Been using this on our trees for the last 5yrs- expensive particularly if your trees are large, however a good investment!

Anti-Aphid application

Used this product in 2015 on my hackberry trees to treat for aphids. We had really bad aphids in 2014. After applying this product in April 2015, we did not have aphids at all in the summer of 2015. Reapplied again April 2016. I also applied the granular product as well at the same time.

Bayer Tree & shrub protect & feed

This is my third year of using this product and my trees are super lush and I never have to do anything else to any of them all year long (Red maple, little leaf linden, crepe myrtle, podocarpus) and a couple bushes. The one bad thing is that it IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!!

Did not protect our Sweet Broom

I have tried this for 3 years in a row and it is not protecting our Sweet Broom from being eaten by green wormy things.

Easy----simple--just sprinkle that's it

So simple to use and forget....trees and shrubs are protected from the inside out. A very clean delivery system for your plants. Would give it a six star if they had it because of the simplicity of this product.

Whitefly protection

Works great ! This is a 60 year old tree and I refuse to bring it down. NEED TO PROTECT IT .

Kills Everything!

I am thinking if it is a systemic, and it goes into every part of the plant, then that would include the flowers...so could that be why we have the collapse of the bee colonies people? Think before you apply fertilizers with pesticides in them. Call me crazy but I cannot see how this type of product, a systemic pesticide bedazzled with fertilizers, won't come back to haunt us all. Worry-free yardwork

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether the problem is aphids or Japanese Beetles, my woes are easily taken care of with is product. Its very easy to apply and the directions are simple enough so that you use the correct amount. I have tried other brands but for the money, this is the way to go for worry-free yard maintenance.

Strongly believe in this product

I started using this product several years ago and now I use bout 12 bottles each spring to treat many of my tress and shrubs. The only thing that it states that it helps that I have need seen is Leafminers. The shrubs still show damage from Leafminers each year despite treatment.

best deterrent to Japanese beetle problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] our area is plagued every June and July by Japanese beetles. They have defoliated my white birch in two days in the past. I started using Bayer Tree and Shrub 10 years ago, once a year every spring. I treat my crepe myrtles, ornamental cherry, Japanese maple and the white birch. The trees are healthy and beetle free.

I bought the 10 lb granular version hoping to have enough to treat my whole 3/4 acre yard only to discover that it was only enough to treat one tree. I have a large oak tree next to the house that is over 100 years that is suffering some boring insects and leaf drops. Saved my two maples and all of my bushes

I first discovered this product in 2003 while living in southeastern Georgia. I was out of town several weeks and returned to a dead ornamental bush I had outside of my kitchen window. Bayers

I use this chemical on all trees, shrubs and roses that appear to be under duress from insects and fungal diseases. It has been shown to give each plant renewed vigor and systemically wards off any and all external attacks from predatory infestations for at least a year after use. Good stuff. I do not use it on any vegetable plants, however. Bayer actually has a different formulation for that application.

Tree/Shrub Protect and Feed Liquid Concentrate

I was surprised at the chalky, thickish green color. Stuff did not smell bad, easy to use. The product says use an ounce for every inch of circumference yet it does not say how many ounces is in the jug. I quickly figured it was 128 oz since it was a gallon so I measured accordingly and distributed around my tree. My tree is a magnolia, beautiful. But it had scale and something else. Seems to work well

Used this product last season to revive some infested eastern hemlock and flowering dogwood trees. After years of watching these trees suffer I finally bit the bullet and spent the money on this product which is not inexpensive and the time on the application which is a bit of a pain. But I got my money's worth. All of the treated trees came back strong with little to no sign of infestation. Just purchased again to apply this season.
