Only have to use once per year but it does the job.

Great Product

After having two grown oak trees become infected, and loosing a large portion of one of them, I started treating the trees with Bayer Advanced annually about 4 years ago. Since then both trees exhibit no further problems. The product couldn't have performed for us any better.

Our One Healthy Tree

We have 5 trees in the front yard. Three are pygmy palms and two are Jatropha trees. Last year I sprayed one pygmy palm with this product. Today, four of the trees have some type of disease. The only healthy tree is the one that was sprayed with this product. I will be using this product on all trees and shrubs from now on.

Great for Siberian Elm - Elm Leaf Miner

I have been using this product for years. Provides around 90% effective coverage against Elm Leaf Miner, which had been decimating my very large, old Siberian Elm. I apply three bottles in Mid-March which provides year long coverage.

Best Product I've Found

Discovered Green Ash Beatles problem about four years ago. This will be the fourth year I've been using product on my only Ash tree. So far the infestation seems not to be expanding but it hasn't gone either. To keep a mature tree alive this product is worth it.

Easy To Use, Long Lasting

I tried this product last season and found it to be a superior product. It's easy to use, apply and go on. I just purchased enough to get me through this season as well. Very pleased with the results.

I would have lost a 30+ foot oak tree to leaf vein gall if it wasn't for this product. Highly recommend. I apply every February when buds start swelling.

Keeps Crepe Myrtles Aphid Free

I've been using this product for years and it helps keep the aphids out of my huge multitrunk crepe myrtle (and other crepe myrtles I've planted since buying my house). Apply it annually and see no sticky leaves or misty sticky crud on your car. The years I missed my applications, the aphids hit hard. Sure it's pricey, but so worth the cost IMO (and my trees are big enough to require more than a gallon of product a year, but to not have to deal with that stickiness...I'll pay the $100 I end u...

Take out the fertilizer!

The original formula worked great to protect pines from the pine beetle infestations ongoing. Now you've added fertilizer, which is not tolerated by conifers in wildland areas. Please keep them separate. When I need insecticide, don't force me to apply deleterious fertilizer in order to get beetle protection. You are missing a huge market opportunity by deciding to combine chemicals.

Kills elm Beatles

I've been using this product for eight years. It kills and repels the pest and gives the trees the nutrients to help them in the spring and hot Nevada summers

Bayer Advanced is great, you can treat everything.

Follow directions and treat roses, ornamental bushes, trees and it will take Care of all bug problems.

Not Really Sure - Yet!

Living in the woods, we have several ash trees around our home that we'd like to save. We started using the product three years ago. An arborist recommended this product over others. The EAB hasn't strongly impacted our area, yet it has been identified in our county. So far, our ash trees are still fine.

Easy to use, very effective if you follow instructions to the letter. Completely clears up any drippy messy trees.

Works very well.

This product works very well on crepe myrtles and any tree or shrub. I have bought 2 gallons over the years. However, as I have found out the active pesticide can be bought on DoMyOwn.com in 21% concentrate for same price as the 1%. Do some research and save yourself a fortune.

No match for spider mites

I've tried this product in an effort to control spider mites on burning bushes for the last two years. No impact whatsoever!! Mid July and they're brown and dropping leaves.

Who wrote these instructions??

"The use rate is 1/2 ounce of the product per 1 inch of distance around the tree trunk (circumference)." What does that mean??? Is that 1/4 ounce per inch of circumference? If so then why doesn't it just say that? I/2 ounce per 1 inch of distance around the tree is very unclear that could mean the drip line or the way to the neighbors house the local ice cream store or the next county or anything. Great Product

Bayer Tree and Shrub (liquid) was recommended to me 6 years ago by an Arborist for treatment of aphids on crepe myrtle trees as well as large American Elm. I have been applying this product each year in mid February since and no longer have any insect issues with these trees. Product is a little pricey but again if you want results you have to pay for it. I would recommend Bayer Tree and Shrub to anyone interested in improving the health and appearance of their trees and shrubs.

This is a great product. I've used it twice, once for Leafminer and the other time for aphids. It saved my trees. Only wish I could purchase in Canada.

PRevents Emerald Ash Borer

I've used this product for about 5 or 6 years and so far my Ash trees are looking healthy. I realize I'm probably only prolonging their life span, but they're a beautiful tree.
