Would Not RecommendI calibrated this per the instructions online. This never worked correctly, and the dials just stayed at the same spot...even after I brought it outside and then back inside (in the winter). This thig is JUNK.

Would Not RecommendI bought two units for my new house. I did not know I would have to calibrate them myself. I found the instructions to calibrate them but actually adjusting them was not easy. It was not precise. The two did not come close to agreeing with one another. I will be returning them.

Would RecommendFor the money this is an OK hygrometer. It is not obvious when you buy it that it has to be calibrated, according instructions on the manufacturer's website. The readings shown when you first take it home are almost certainly wrong.

Would RecommendNothing digital about this -- just one moving part, a coil that's mechanically attached to the needle. Super-reliable compared to an electronic device. I calibrated it with a saturated salt solution as recommeded online -- was spot on, didn't need adjustment.
