Does the job!

I bought this humidity gauge to help keep an eye out on the humidity levels of my basement. And to confirm how well the dehumidifier works. So far, works great. Easy to read, no batteries or electrical components. I'd buy another unit to put in other parts of my house.

Sad to say, this is junk

You get what you pay for with this item. It's cheap but it doesn't work. You have to calibrate it with a strange ritual described on their website, using a bottle cap, water and salt. The amounts needed aren't fully detailed. I did my best. The needle doesn't move. The only positive is that it is so cheap, I don't feel bad throwing it out and not wasting time getting a refund. Do not buy.

Meh. Totally inaccurate. I’m not sure if I purchased a faulty or damaged item or if these are just another example of you get what you pay for.

Effective for Humidity Readings

Bought two for separate rooms. It takes 10-15min to adjust, it is not instantaneous, but it works perfectly fine for its intended purpose.

Inaccurate, unfortunately

I really wanted to like this, as it's affordable and I like analog displays. Unfortunately I don't trust either the temperature or humidity gauge to be accurate, which makes it not particularly useful. The temperature does seem to be consistent in being about 5 degrees warmer than it actually is, but the humidity seems to bounce around more in a way I really don't trust at all. Two stars for the temperature at least seeming internally consistent.

Purchased to check humidity levels in a metal garage, and seems to be working well.

Not even close

Like the saying goes, "A man with a clock knows the time, and man with two is never sure." I had one digital hygrometer and needed another one, so I bought this one at Lowes. Two wildly different results. I needed a total of four hygrometers so I bought three more of the digital type. I put all five together and let them stabilize for a couple of hours. This handy gauge has been showing us how much to use our dehumidifiers to get our basement and home at proper humidity levels.

Cheap

This came in the mail. When I pulled it from the box the packaging was already open and so it fell on the floor and immediately broke. I would give it a zero if that were possible.
