Benzene torch

Bought the cheaper one for $22.?? Didn’t work, so I took it back and purchased this one. Works great

Okay torch that aspires to be bigger.

I bought this to solder some 3/4 inch pipe. It works ok for pipe fittings, but it really struggles to heat up a massive 3/4in ball valve. The flame is just too small for that. It eventually got the job done, but definitely wasn't made for the job. I do like the push button ignition, it lit first time every time which was nice. The flame adjustment is lacking range, it basically adjists from off to medium high to high.

It works

It works realy well, heats up what ever you are using it for quickly, and the end where the flame comes out cools down preaty quick.

Very disappointing

Out of the box the igniter will not spark. When I light the gas with a separate lighter, the flame is very weak even when adjusting the knob.

Disappointed

Purchased this torch and the igniter doesn’t work. So much for nicer convenience, back to the old dependable striker.

Great fire starter!

It also works great to start the grill. It is lightweight and easy to use. I did get the one without the propane bottle so had to purchase that separately. It’s so easy to ignite and control the flame. We haven’t had any issue with the flame puttering or going out. You can hold it at any angle to light which is nice. ...

Flamecommander Torch

Only setback is I claimed the kit that comes with the tank for it but I never received tank so had to buy one to go with it. Other than that it is a great tool to have on hand for so many different projects!

Flambé!

Easy enough for a flame newbie

I was very intimidated by the torch, but reading all instructions really helped. I wish the QR code was etched on the product, since there are no instructions included in the box.
