What Customers Are Saying
Customers report the trap captures carpenter bees with remarkable consistency, with many catching dozens within days and some reporting 6-8 bees daily. Reviewers praise its ease of hanging and emphasize that placement near active bee entry points like decks and railings is critical for success. Many purchase multiple units for larger areas, expressing strong satisfaction with results. However, a notable minority report no success despite correct placement, and some mention bees escaping or continuing to drill nearby. Overall, most customers consider it highly effective when positioned correctly.

Works Great For Carpenter Bees!
Would RecommendThis worked exactly like we needed it to. We constantly have carpenter bees damaging our wood fence and within a week of hanging along the fence, we’ve trapped many bees and don’t have them swarming the fence like they have in previous years.

No Catch Yet
Would Not RecommendWe followed the directions where to place this bee trap; however, after two and a half weeks it still has not caught any of the carpenter bees that are along our wooden deck.

Humane and comes with a plug/cork bonus!
Would RecommendThis product came with a free plug to plug the carpenter bee hole that had already been bored into my fence post. That was an unexpected bonus. I have yet to "capture" a bee in the trap, but I also have not yet seen any additional holes in the fence. Finger's crossed this does the trick, as the thought of filling the hole with chemical foam product seems excessive.
Get rid of those carpenter bees!
Would RecommendIt trapped the carpenter bees that were destroying my back porch. I am happy with this purchase.
It works!
Would RecommendWow! We stopped counting after our trap had 18 bees in it! It's so great that we went back and bought a second one for the other side of our house. Would recommend this to anyone with carpenter bees drilling away at their structures!
Easy to hang, safe to use.
Would RecommendWe had carpenter bees under our patio roof. The ceiling is yellow pine. They were drilling holes. We hung the bees and things trap. After a week they went to the trap. We were able to then take them to a wooded area and release them.
Easy installation
Would RecommendEasy to install and the product doesn’t fly off in the wind. Traps bees as it’s designed.
It works
I placed it near some holes the bees made in my deck and it worked to distract them away while I repaired the holes. I caught a few bees over a few days and safely released them. If using the wood plug included I recommend sealing over it shortly after or the bees will dig through it again.
Not bad. Easy enough to use.
Would RecommendSuper easy to use, set it and forget it. More humane and eco-friendly than pesticides. However, I had just as good results with peppermint oil spray, for significantly cheaper.
Bees Be Gone
Would RecommendPut this up in our pergula, because the bees were boring holes into our wood structure. The next day when I checked the trap, it was full of bees. Worked as advertised and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this product.
Thank you
