What Customers Are Saying
Customers report the trap captures carpenter bees with remarkable consistency, with many catching dozens within days and some reporting 6-8 bees daily. Reviewers praise its ease of hanging and emphasize that placement near active bee entry points like decks and railings is critical for success. Many purchase multiple units for larger areas, expressing strong satisfaction with results. However, a notable minority report no success despite correct placement, and some mention bees escaping or continuing to drill nearby. Overall, most customers consider it highly effective when positioned correctly.

Pretty good
The mounting bracket doesn't really work. But otherwise seems to work well enough. Great instructions
Necessary
Would RecommendA little pricey for what it's made of.

Carpenter bee - easy to hang
Would RecommendGreat easy hanging product to put outdoors for carpenter bees. I put it near the existing holes they created and am waiting to catch one still
Perfect
Would RecommendWorked perfectly! All the carpenter bees are gone! I just set it one top of the wood pile and in a day I found the first bee inside and now I dont have any more eating up my wood before winter.
Need some sort of bait
Would Not RecommendAttracts flies but not carpenter bees. The bees continue to chew the wood around the trap.
Simple, useful
Would RecommendSimple to use. Caught a few bees and seemed to deter others. The bees on the other side of the house moved away so it’s hard to tell what kind of impact it had.
hang early in spring before bees drill holes
Would RecommendNicely made with easy to release door at base. Came with metal hanger attached to back along with sample plug for bee hole. Captured about 20 carpenter bees in a couple of weeks.
