First time buying soil

I checked this product at different stores, but it looked in really bad condition on the outside. There were insects crawling on top of it and the bags were all damaged, again, at both stores.

Good soil mix for new plants

Not wet or dry or funky smelling, looks good. Mixes well with other soil, no annoying floating particles when watered. Not that much more expensive then crappy non-organic soil.

It has a rough consistency, but is clear that it is full of good stuff and is super dark and full of nutrients. It made a great addition to each of the holes I dug for each of my new plants to help buff up the soil where they were planted.
