It has a rough consistency, but is clear that it is full of good stuff and is super dark and full of nutrients. I love this soil!!

It is a moist mixture and safe for pets and family which I love since I have multiple pets. it is also good for the environment which is one of the main reasons I use the brand, I have used it to plant my tomatoes, peppers, and onions, which are doing great so far.
