Perfect to jumpstart the garden

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this soil in exchange for my honest review. This is intended for in ground use and is ideal for vegetable gardens. I added it to my vegetable beds and can see that not only will it add good nutrients but includes some bark like mulch to help retain moisture, which will be much needed in California summer. This was great to mix with my clay like ground soil and was easy to handle and manage myself.

Great soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so excited to try this soil I’m unable to right now due to the winter season but when it’s spring this is going all over my backyard to grow some delicious tomatoes and peppers! Back to the roots soil is really good in consistency and retains moisture really well. It’s easy to use, a bit darker and of course a bit harder than potting soil but perfect to allow plants to grow well and plus the weed suppression is pretty good!

Lowe's cancelled our order

Lowe's cancelled our order, which was for a United Way work session at a church garden. Just said "out of stock temporarily" and that was that. I ordered in person at the store and was told the 30 bags of topsoil would be delivered by Fed Ex, which did seem weird. So now we have to scramble to find something else. Thanks so much for the help....

Great product!

Good Soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed the soil into existing flower pots i had around my garden and backyard. The soil seems like good quality and i like how it DOES NOT have a bad scent like alot of soil mixtures. Recommend :)

It’s soil

I’m not new to this brand as I’ve had their tomato growing kit and bag of potting soil (both purchased years ago myself). We recently restarted our aquaponic garden and had some additional tomato spouts that we decided to ‘pot’ with this soil until they’re ready to be planted. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great soil option! The soil seemed very rich & had plenty of moisture for plants to thrive in! It is friendly to the environment & doesn’t smell too bad either! Great value for your buck!

Worth the cost

I ordered multiple types of soil for different uses this spring: indoor seed starting, container gardening, and my garden beds. This soil was by far the best. It was a uniform consistency, perfectly moist, and ready for plants. It has a much higher cost and shipping takes longer but it is so worth the time and money.

Flying Insect BLOOM

Dont use inside a Greenhouse or in potted containers outside close to your windows.... We had a flying insect bloom in the thousands that was crazy... still fighting it...

Dirty

Delivery was awful from company. Now dirt does not grow as good as Miracle Grow raised bed dirt. Stick with what you know. Too much wood particles. Might get better as it ages
