Why did I wait so long?

I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these. But I finally had to for a butcher block counter. I wish I bought one of these years ago. It helps to make the perfect cut.

Great product

The clamp worked great and gave me a straight cut. I didn’t use the saw guide just place the edge of saw against the fence.

Somewhat functional if you work hard at it

You cannot count on this thing to make itself square- measure, use your square, tighten it up, then check again because it usually moves again. The "easily sliding" stop is a struggle- you have to pop it loose with a screwdriver each time you want to move it. Since it always moves itself between cuts, you have to pop it loose again to make each adjustment. The clamp handle has to hang off the edge of the table, since you need several inches below the workpiece to put it in the locked position. I...

Works well

The clamps on this are very sturdy and clamps the wood well. Helps make very straight cuts.

Good as a straight edge. Finicky to use

I was was expecting this guide to self square. I was working on uncut plywood and still had to measure from guide to saw edge on EVERY cut. Once clamped it held well and cuts came out square.

bad end stop

Cant get the end stop to release. Have to use a screw driver to pop it open so i can adjust it to a new location.

Works as a guide rail.

Items works well as a guide rail. However, have to work at getting it lined up to be square. You think you have it lined up, then tighten the clamp and will change by an 1/8" of an inch or more. Pending on tasks, may or may not be an issue for you.

Looks and Feels Great, but sadly disappoints

Hate to leave a bad review, but don't want others making the same mistake I did. 2 issues I found. 1. The clamp moves when cutting, as other has mentioned. 2. The clamp is not reliable to create 1 90 degree angle. Was hoping to use this clamp to speed up the cutting process, but sadly it did not help. Had to return it. Good material, but bad clamps.

Works fine when it works.

Great idea in theory. The moveable end piece holds the boards in place but doesn't move when released. I have to use a mallet to get it moving again. should have read the Amazon reviews as apparently this is a known problem. Not because of sawdust, it did this from the beginning. Wish i hadn't bought it. Waste of money.

Bora Edge Guide & also bought the extension.

I used the guide for both a 4 foot cross cutting & ripping a 8 foot sheet of plywood and was impressed even with the full 8 foot ripping, the guide Stayed Flat Against the board along the full length of the Sheet!! I had a question about the small screws that tie the two sections together to make 100 inches, and I called Bora in Troy, Mi. and they were very informative & pleasant to talk with. Clamp sticks making it useless

Great design concept, poor execution. I had immediate issues after first cut. The sliding stop became stuck and would not move. Returned the product for refund. Searching the web yield other people having issues with this clamp. Do not purchase.

Bora 50-in parallel jaw clamp

seems to work good, easy to place and easy to adjust for width of wood. made jig to help in clamp placement,

Bora Camp

Works extremely well for ripping or cross cutting large size panels. I will be purchasing attachments to go with it.
