MOTORIZED MINI VAC WITH NON-TANGLE BRUSHES - NOPE!

It was a great vac until I used the motorized vac attachment to suck up pet hair. The allegedly non-tangle rollers are NOT. And they don't give one an easy way to remove the little roller to remove all the tangled fur! If you unscrew the housing to get to the roller - all the rollers and belts come flying out! They need to fix this because I now have a broken mini vac - and I just purchased this thing!

Easy to use and clean

We use this in our laundry room and by the backdoor for our 2 cats. They sometimes track dirt in or drag litter out of their box. Have not used the brush attachment though. This little vacuum does the job nicely, use it everyday for about 4 to 5 minutes, it lasts several days on a charge, have no complaints.

Great vacuum with slight room for improvement

Great product, as you’d expect from B&D. Lots of suction - I rarely need to use the high power mode. Love the extendable nose like Pinocchio. Just two suggestions for improvement: 1. The little power plug is annoying. Takes both hands to either insert or tremor it, and a good hard push or pull. Why not either an easier to use plug or, better yet, a charging base like one of your other models. I’m about to buy another cordless handheld and will either buy that model or a different brand. Handy Lightweight Hand held Vac

My old Black and Decker pet hair vac finally bit the dust, and is no longer made. I needed a handheld vac that had a motorized brush for pet hair. While I didn't want a rechargeable one, the corded ones didn't have what I wanted. This has a strong suction, the motorized brush works well, and it's much lighter than my old B&D corded model. The charge lasts long enough to get the job done.

We have a cat and it works very well picking up cat hair and kitty litter from the floor.

Best handheld vacuum I've ever had

Most effective handheld vac I've EVER owned. Strong suction picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair way better than I expected, and the blades on the detachable motorized pet brush are great, not only on fabrics, but also on bare floors. I have accidentally dumped the pre-filter and the filter in the trash a few times, but have learned to just pull them out of the dust bowl every time I open it for emptying so I don't lose them. A total disappointment

I owned a CHV1400 Type 1 14.4 volt Black & Decker Dustbuster for, I think, 20 years. Or close to it. Absolutely trouble free. It would suck up anything. Finally, this summer I realized it wasn't holding a charge. So time for a new one. I couldn't find one like it but decided to get the HHVK515JP model.
