Great Little Coffee Machine

I bought my B&D single serve coffee makers (bought 2 of them) 4 years ago. Best coffee maker I’ve ever had. I clean it every 4-6 weeks by putting vinegar in the reservoir for an hour or so. Then I run water cycle through 3 or 4 times. That’s probably why I’ve had it so long. I still have the 2nd coffee maker in the box.

Not Even Close to the old Brew N'Go

For probably the past 20 yrs. I've used the B & D Brew N'Go coffee maker and obviously LOVED it. Fearing that the one I'm using was about to give up, I ordered this single serve maker expecting the same great cup of coffee. Boy, was I ever disappointed. The water runs through it so quickly that you basically end up drinking hot water with a whiff of coffee and everything I've tried to 'slow it down' has been to no avail. Can't return it and won't use and can't find the old Brew N'Go anywhere...

Space saving coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Black & Decker Single Serve coffee maker. Other 2 worked fine but thought it was time to replace them. Love that it takes up so little counter space. I use coffee pods and it makes a great cup of coffee using only 1 pod.

Not Hot Enough

Received this maker for Christmas to replace a similar design (drip, open basket) that I'd been using for 5+ years. This one is nice, but it doesn't seem to get up to temperature. I haven't changed the water/grounds ratio that worked just fine for the other and have played around with adding additional grounds, but consistently get under-brewed, weak coffee. Measured it finally and the brew temp is only about 155°F instead of the +180°F that you need to actually get an extraction.

Messy

I’ve used this once a day for about a week and it is messy. Sad it say I will be returning it.

Didn't last long.

Had mine for about 2-1/2 years. All of a sudden, it's just overflowing every time I use it. Doesn't matter how much or how little coffee I put in the filter, it overflows and makes a mess. Yes, I have cleaned it and cleaned it and descaled it. Cleaned the basket and the filter till they shone. But it still does it. If I use a paper filter, it's a little better, Thought I would get more time out of it than this. It's a great little machine. But something is wrong.

Long life

Thai is the second Black and Decker single serve coffee maker that I have owned....The first , which was purchased in 2012 is STILL working, but I decided to buy another when I saw it and before #1 died’!

Perfect size

I have been looking for this size coffee maker for 2 years as our old one is worn out. So happy to find a single cup coffee maker at an affordable price.is

Excellent product

I bought this about a week ago and finally used it yesterday, with Starbucks coffee that I had to grind by hand. I was so happy with how easy it was to use and how easy it was to clean the filter.

Starts good but quickly isn't worth the money

keeps not using all the water and only fills half the cup. Started after a year or so and happens on a off for a couple months at a time. seriously annoying.

My favorite morning coffeemaker!

I've been using this coffeemaker for over 15 years and it's still brewing a great cup of coffee. I bought a new one...still in the sealed box...kept it for nearly 10 years...never needed to replace my original one///so, I donated it to Goodwill. Wish I had kept it! This morning I de-scaled it because it stopped brewing a full cup of coffee. After de-scaling...it was perfect, again...enjoyed a great 'full' cup of coffee. I LOVE IT! I love it!

I'm about to buy my 3rd in 10 yrs. I love it and have only been replacing them because either k cups are getting thicker or the blade that pokes the hole is getting dull. Either way, some kcups just won't work. I usually use grounds anyway but I love the versatility -- i like to grind my beans but use kcups on occasion just to try other brands. Each machine has lasted at least 5 yrs before I've had the cutter issue and for the price I really don't care. I save the little filter basket for a spar...

Faulty power switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design. I used it for one cup of coffee. Later when I tried to bake a second cup, the on switch would not stay on. It would activate the red light but immediately shut off. I’ve tried plugging into different outlets but same thing happens. The on switch will no stay on. I can almost hear it warming up the water but it cut off so fast, it won’t dispense any water into the basket of coffee .

A Great Cup of Coffee

Tastes good which is number one. Brews quickly and it's easy to clean. Reasonably priced too. Has its own filter basket but I line it with a paper one also. I must have had at least 15 of these over the years. I hope they never stop making them. The taper of the mug is just right for my hands.

Filter needs work

I bought this product thinking it would save time in the morning. I also have another Black and Decker product that I am happy with. However, this coffee maker takes the same amount of time as my drip pour. I think I paid too much for something that does the same thing. Actually, my drip pour is probably better because the regular filter doesn’t allow coffee grounds to pass through and this reusable filter does. The mesh is not very strong and will probably tear after some washings. Two good thi...
