Broken in the middle after 2 years

I bought this in summer of 2015. It was broken in the middle a few month ago.

Easy to use, great battery life

Pros: - The battery life on these things is incredible. I had this thing stored in my garage for 3-4 months and the battery had plenty of juice when I fired it up again. Love this Trimmer/Edger

This trimmer is lightweight and the batteries last long enough to trim our acre lot. The edger component is really nice. The wheel rolls along the drive and places a nice, clean edge right where I need it. It's much easier/faster to use than my old edger and I don't have to deal with the noise of the edger blade hitting the concrete. Was skeptical, but it exceeded expectations

I've typically been more of a gas-powered lawn equipment guy over the years, but it seems the battery-powered ones have made great advances. After I got tired of my gas-powered line trimmer giving me a hard time to get started, I decided to give this one a try. Love it, except....

This trimmer does the job as needed. Battery lasted maybe 30 minutes, then went to trade out for the one that had been charging overnight, and it was dead as a door nail. CanNOT get it to charge, so I basically got shorted a battery. Pretty bummed about that. Otherwise, it's a great little trimmer.

Light weight

I love this trimmer. It's light weight and easy to use. 2 batteries give you about an hour of time to finish the job.

An improvement over last one

I bought a Black & Decker cordless edger 3 seasons ago, and had to buy this one because the old batteries wouldn't hold a charge anymore. The batteries to this one don't last as long, but they don't take nearly as long to charge either. I'm happy with my choice. My old one didn't have the wheel to help guide it, and just drug on the sidewalk protected by a heavy wire guard. It wore through last summer, so I'm hoping this one will last longer than 3 seasons.

Very easy to use

I searched online to find an easy to use weed eater. I did not want to mess with the gas/oil mixing or electric. I found reviews on this from a woman and she highly recommended it. I found it online from Lowe's and ordered it one day and picked it up the next. It was very easy to assemble and I even used it before having to charge the batteries. Highly recommend this for convenience and ladies. Light weight and not hard on your back.

Better than I thought it would work...

After my Bolens gas trimmer died on me that I purchased from Lowe's about 5 years ago, I decided to go electric. No power/short battery life

Purchased product last month, used three times. Product has no power even at the highest setting. A fully charged battery only lasted 10 minutes on the second setting. The first setting isn't even worth using, does not cut a blade of grass. The second setting cuts the battery life in half. It has a very small cutting area and the roller wheel makes it difficult to obtain a close edge. I will be returning this product for a more durable, high quality product.

Great power - light weight

I am a 51 year old female and wanted a trimmer that wouldn't make my shoulders ache - and this one fits the bill. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. It has two batteries & I usually use one whole one & part of the second to get my lawn done. Note when I say get the lawn done - I edge the driveway, walkways & curbs, trim the entire perimeter and around 5 large trees - and the batteries still hold up - usually about 45-50 minutes of trimming. Lightweight, efficient

Nice and light, easy to use. Telescoping so can be used by any height of person. Package comes with 2 batteries, so I can do my area with one charge.

My first bad Lowe's review. Don't buy it. The shaft kept coming apart in the middle no matter how many times you would tighten it. They ergonomics are bad. They moved the battery from underneath to on top and as you are using it it digs into your wrist. Made my wrist and lower arm sore for a few days. Works well enough for the price, beats pulling a starter cord until your blue in the face. Comes with two batteries, wear one out while you recharge the other. The best part is no more messy oil & gas mixing.

Great Value

Never had a trimmer that actually worked as an edger, until now. Lightweight and does what it should! Glad I made this purchase.
