Box pilfered, item used, sold to me as new

This was an instore pickup. The box was heavily retaped by Lowes so I could not open it until I drove home. The included sanding disk had been pilfered and the unit gave off dust when I first used it. B&D would not replace the pilfered disk. Unhappy. No easy recourse with Lowes.

Great Times Saver!

Purchased this thinking it might come in handy...Wow, we have used it over and over again! Powerful for a little guy! Highly recommend!

great tool

I am building a boat every time you do any thing you have to sand. I use this tool 6-8 hrs a day no problems. Great at any price

Fantastic tool

I bought this to replace a worn out Dewalt. In my opinion this works just as good and at a fraction of the cost. I used some 320 grit to sand my RV refrigerator door panels prior to painting them. The palm size sander did a good job and the dust collector caught a good bit of residue..

Light weight easy to use.

Dud great in my plywood to lay tile. Light weight easy to use and good price.

Never buy this sander

This is the 2nd sander I have gotten. Within a month BOTH of the sander pads became detached which affects the quality of the sander. For the price this sander should last longer than a month. I’m not happy about the time and money out into this. I would NOT recommend.

You get what you pay for

Bought this sander for a little light work less than 1 hour the screws started coming out. Had to take it back, but the return was painless. I will start checking screws about every half hour until I feel they'll stay in. Doesn't mean it's a bad product it's just not a Dewalt

It works perfect

This orbital sander is amazing. It really performs beyond my expectations.

Good

No problems. Easy to manage. I get the best out of my projects. My cabinets had a great smooth finish. I would recommend.

Poor Quality Control

After 1 use of this orbital sander, I pulled the sand paper off the sanding disc and the velcro surface came off with the sand paper. Returned for a full refund. I will be spending more to get a better quality sander.

Essentially Useless

I was looking for a cost effective electric sander for home use, but this was a complete waste of money. I ended up getting better and faster results just taking the paper off and doing it by hand.

very short life

THis is my second black and decker sander,neither one of them lasted 6 months. They start spinning out of controll Will never buy again Should have bought a dewalt

Effective for smaller jobs, but nothing larger.

I’ve had my unit for about 2 years and until recently, I’ve only needed it for smaller jobs. For those instances, it was fantastic and would recommend it. However, I recently tried to samd down a standard sized desk and the base orbital pad fell off after some extended use. It appears the heat melts the adhesive off rather quickly. I re-adhered it multiple times and as expected, the same thing happened. Again, great for small spot jobs, but nothing beyond that.
