Best vacuum purchase in 20 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Kirby Generation 4, and 2 Shark Rotator Pet Plus. I have been frustrated with how the Shark was cleaning. Yes, I bought a large cache of filters for my Shark, and changed them weekly. I bought the the Bissell pet multiclean, and WOW!!! What a difference. I don't know how many pool balls the Bissell will suck up, but I know it cleans carpet Extraordinarily well.

HORRIBLE, AWFUL--DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 1-3-2022. Have a Golden Retriever and lots of hair. First dislike is the lack of attachment tools--especially a brush for hard wood floors, and ability to vacuum throw rugs. Hair does rap around the brush and builds up on the edges of the roller until the brush no longer rolls. Ready for the trash and search for new machine.

I vacuumed my living room for over an hour and still the vacuum left white dog hairs behind. I emptied the canister multiple times, and tried adjusting the pile level - neither helped. Vacuum has very LITTLE suction. I got more dog hair up with lint roller. I don’t understand the positive reviews about dog hair, maybe their dogs are short haired and they don’t have dark carpet/rug.

Loyal Bissell Customer DOES NOT Recommend

I bought this vacuum exactly 2 years ago in June 2021 (from Lowes) for my daughter who has pets and lots of pet hair to deal with. When it worked, it worked well and has great suction but, overall, It has been a huge disappointment as the "tangle free" roller brush is anything but tangle free. If anything, it gets tangled MORE than any vacuum I've ever had in all the years I've been keeping house. It constantly gets tangled with hair and then stops spinning. Doesn't work as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the vacuum to clean a 8x10 area rug. It does a decent job. The "tangle free" roller is just not true. The positive thing about the vacuum is that it is easy to clean, although it doesn't have the largest collection bin. Has to be emptied pretty quick and that's just for one rug. Wouldn't recommend if your going to vacuum the entire house. Doesn't work great on the floors so I stick to a broom and dust pan for the rest of my house. Most im...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hair wraps around roller and even after cutting it off will stop working. Does not pickup cat hair very well. My back hurts so bad after I am done vacuuming because it does not work on the low pile area rugs very well

This unit uses less power (7A vs. 12A), has better suction and is significantly quieter. The only thing that would require ear-plugs would be extended use of the Pet Turbo eraser attachment (it make a notable whine). Over all a good vacum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use on carpet bare wood floors and rugs. Works well on all of them. Like how it gets under many things my old hoover would not. The way the vacuum head swivels makes getting around things very easy. The power head is a little to strong as it really bites down onto things and makes it kind of hard to control. What I was surprised to see it does not have a headlight. Even my grandmothers hoover from the 40's had a headlight.

This vacuum is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had and I’ve had three Kirby’s since I was 19 years old, I’m 61, now. This Bissell vacuum is amazing! The vacuum cleaner comes apart easily and goes back together easily. I can clean almost the whole inside of the vacuum. It has a good suction, easy to push and maneuver. I have a Sharp vacuum I use to vacuum the Bissell filters before I wash them. Make sure the filters are dry before you put them back.
