I would not buy this item again.

This is probably the worst vacuum I have ever owned. The intake hose clogs after every use, I have to take the bottom off to unclog it before each usage. It also regularly gets clogged at the top of the canister; the design is poor because most of the pet hair does not fall to the bottom of the canister. If I were offered another one of the same model, I would not accept it, as it's a waste of time and effort. We had our original one for less than a year, got a replacement less than a year ago, ...

I replaced my old vacumm with this Bissell. I hoped it would do as well as my old one (when it was working). To my surprise it out-performed any i have used in the past! I'm now thinking of getting the Bissell pet product that will vacumm and wet-clean my kitchen & bath tiles.

A Great Purchase

I use my new Bissell Deluxe Pet Rewind Vacuum Cleaner every day to clean an area rug in my family room, wood floors, and a porch area. Every day use is required due to two hairy dogs and a cat. The canister holds a lot and is easy to remove and empty. This is not something I thought I would enjoy so much but I do like seeing what gets into the canister with each use. expensive for a cheesy, cheapish vaccum

The heap filter does do a good job at all. The dust comes out of the vacuum like a cloud of smoke, even if it's at the full mark. I have bad allegories, I was sneezing like crazy, I had to stop and let my husband empty it and finish vacuuming. And don't go over the full mark or you'll have a house full of dust, like you never even vacuum. When I 1st got the vacuum cleaner it worked wonderful sucked up things I didn't even know I had then it slowly started to stop doing as good as before the belt broke within the month of having it had to buy a new one then every time I would dump it was always super messy case was always getting clogged at the top then within 6 to 8 months of having the vacuum cleaner it stopped working it was melting from the inside and smoking

This is the second of these vacuums that I purchased. They are lightweight, but they really get the fur out of the carpet. Highly recommended!

Strong

Not bad for a Bissell. I was surprised how strong the air flow was. As a pet owner, I am completely satisfied.

quieter than others

this vac is not as noisy than my 12 amp Eurika that burned out. the 8 amp motor runs quieter and seems to work just as well. I have a sheltie and this vac does the job. the parts and attachments are simple and intuitive. East to clean. No brush roll shut off prevents five stars for an otherwise outstanding vacuum.

Not What I Had Hoped For in a Bissell

After a few months of owning this vacuum, I'm ready for the review...I hate this machine. I read all the reviews before I bought it and chose it because I loved my last Bissell, but apparently good quality doesn't translate from machine to machine. I previously had a Dyson pet vacuum and this vacuum is equal to it. The first time I used it it picked up so much pet hair and dust I was amazed. It is light and easy to use. The cord rewind feature is very handy.

Excellent Vaccum

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I'm 72 years old & I've owned many. This Bissell is by far the best. Meets all my needs & is very affordable.

I would consider buying this product again.

I am very pleased with the product. I do not like the fact that the dirt sometimes bypass the plastic container and goes straight to the top and covers the yellow filter.

Great vacuum for home use

We purchased for 5th Wheel RV. It is excellent, but a bit large for the trailer.
