I couldn't believe how much hair and dirt I had in my carpet. Before my new Bissell I had a shark that I would use every other day, so I was really surprised when vacuuming my hall with my Bissell for the first time filled the containers up. It has great suction, easy to clean and only took two screws to put it together....

I found that I pick up twice as much hair and other pet dirt than the previous vacuum I had. The brush does not get bogged down with hair or anything else and that's a miracle in itself. On the day that I received it, I thoroughly vacuumed the house ( as I had done every day for 2 years with my Shark), and I was astonished at the power and pick up! I had to empty the dirt chamber right away!! I have 2 dogs, and this machine will make life much easier!

Perfect for our needs

The best feature is that hair doesn't get wrapped around the brush. We have 2 Welch Corgis and 2 kitties all of which shed a lot.

Would Not RecommendWe purchased our vacuum after having a dyson for 11 years. We were hoping to use this vacuum for a few years until our youngest gets out of the dropping food at every meal stage. The first and several uses after I loved this vacuum. I felt that it lost suction quickly after a month or so and the extension with the tools was not powerful at all however it got it job done. What I failed to realize is that the floor brush continues to rotate while tools are in use, yes this is in the users manual. ...
