Made cheaply. Would not purchase again
Would Not RecommendVacuum picks up dirt and pet hair very well. Would have liked a light on it. Made very cheaply. You get what you pay for evidently. Dirt tank hinge broke after about a month of use, probably 4 times. Less than a year old and we will probably replace the entire unit. Probably not another Bissell

I would not buy this product again.
Would Not RecommendI use it for normal home use. Hose constantly unscrews. As soon as it touches an object accidentally like the corner of an area rug, it causes a burning smell. Etc.

Would RecommendWe got rid of our old vacuum because it couldn't pick up any dog hair in our house (we have a dog and a cat). We upgraded to this vacuum and it does everything we need it to. Would definitely recommend.

My 91 year old parents used this immediately after their present vacuum and couldn't believe how much dirt came up and how the carpet color brightened. The woven dust in the top layer had been dulling the carpet. The quick release dirt container thrilled them.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my carpets and laminate flooring. It's easy to switch back and forth. It does a great job on both (the bin is full when I'm done) without scattering the dirt on the laminate flooring. I have three levels that I use this on, and it is lightweight enough to easily carry up and down steps using the carry grip on the vacuum. Great Vacuum
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum for pet hair. I had clean and vacuum with my old machine before it broke. When I got my new bissell it picked up dirt and hair that was deep down in the carpet that I had know idea was there. What a great machine!

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall design is great and easy to move from room to room. So easy to put together. The bin is so easy to remove and empty. I love the cord retraction option which keep the cord safe inside the vacuum. The vacuum is also very quiet!

Our new Bissel
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a long line of Bessel sweepers we have owned. So far it is the best as each has improved. Our last was still good but ending up between a wall and a SUV ended its usefulness suddenly. We have not had this one long enough but so far we are happy with it.

Get what you pay for
Would Not RecommendPiece of garbage. Literally have to clean the filter after every use, or it significantly loses suction. Have difficulty opening all of the plastic clips to get at the filter and to empty the vacuum... never going to last. Cord is very short, so I accidentally pulled it to far and the recoil literally broke the very first time using the vacuum.
