Would RecommendBright, decent color ( not garish blue) and seemingly efficient for the amount of light. It's very heavy, and doesn't do well with flimsy sockets- you need the beefy porcelain or metal socket casing- lightweight, light duty sockets/ lamps will flex under any side torsion.

Would RecommendPurchased 8 of these for my new unfinished basement. Forget the boring 60 watt bulbs. These beasts light up the area like daytime. Very happy with this purchase.
This light very bright,good for garage but dont mount it anywhere close to garage opener it will interfere with the remote signal with is on.it did that and my opener work sometimes sometimes it will not open.i tried new remote and didn't help bought a brand new garage opener and behaved the same until i realized the opener have no problem when the light is off.
