Tilts over (on your plants!) unless you have a place to screw the base down on.

Short life span

The plant light worked beautifully - for a month. This is the second item from this brand that quickly failed. I typically don't write negative reviews but this was a waste of time andmoney.

Save your hard earned money!

Worked for about a month! For $40 bucks, that's outrageous! Seeds were slow to sprout with it, but now it won't even power on at all!

Doesn’t work

It doesn’t come with an adapter, but I have several so that’s a minor annoyance. Biggest issue is that I plugged it in, set the timer for 9 hours and it shut off after 20 minutes and would never come back on. When I press the power button after two seconds the lights flicker but never come back on. Have tried different outlets, different adaptors etc and nothing works.

Many reviewers said the light would not turn on BUT did they follow the directions? Or read the reviews that said to hold the start button longer? Mine turned on using a cheap power block I got with another device. I haven't had it long enough to see actual growth results it has only been about 3 hours.

No power supply, top heavy, lights up well.

It does NOT come with a USB power source! Can’t be plugged into 120VAC out of the box. A little bit top heavy when in the base and can tip over.

User Error

Before I purchased the product I read several reviews complaining about the USB power and users’ difficulty finding the right adapter. After ignoring them and purchasing the product I must say those folks must be using the product wrong. This light worked with every single adapter I tried, including the apple cube that im sure everyone has. Give it time

Bought this to save my houseplants from a serious lack of windows at my new house. Of note: you have to hold down the power button until the lights turn on. I think a lot of people don't realize this and left a negative review. I left this on full time for awhile and my plants went from what I thought was a hopeless situation to thriving. Needs power supply-not included

Excited to unbox and set up, only to realize this is incomplete-no power supply. Had to order separately. For $5-7 Bell+Howell could’ve added this absolutely necessary missing link. That’s why the subpar review. Else I look forward to herbs and veggies this winter!

Quality product but beware

I should have read the reviews. For the price point it should have had a regular power cord not a USB. I do not have the ability to plug it in or use it since there is no adapter to plug the USB cord into and I am not moving my computer to the living room. Useless without the adapter. Returning
