Something missing here

I did not like the fact that this product did not have all it's parts. Seems there should be an electrical cord that hooks up to the electronic parts for charging but it was not included with the grow lamp...there is no instructions inside concerning how to hook it up for charging or how it works...only the info on the outside of the box which only shows it displayed over flowers, etc.

NO POWER CORD?

I know better than to buy stuff before reading reviews online first and this is what happens when I don't. I have a grow light that plugs into a computer. What kind of silliness is that?

Pretty enough to use in the living room.

I bought this in anticipation of the cold weather months. Don’t really need it until I need to blinds to keep the heat in. It should be a great help in starting seedlings for next spring's planting. We totally missed the early planting this year because elf the stress of tax season.

the off, on, dim and timer switches are difficult

the red and blue lights are very helpful for plant growth. But, the off, on, dim and timer switches are difficult to use and the indicator lights are not bright enough. Great idea but needs improvement.

They don’t work

Bought one of these, took it home, and realized that it didn’t have a power adapter with it. No problem, I tell myself. I have a few of those. So, I plug it in and get no power. Try several other USB adapters and a laptop, and no dice. So I take it back to Lowes and get a replacement, thinking this one is bad. I also buy a 20A USB adapter at Lowes to be sure that it wasn’t just an issue of not enough juice. Nope, get home and the second one is bad too.

Top heavy, base not heavy enough to hold itself upright. Returned this item.

I bought this gadget to use indoors with 2 planters full of ornamental strawberries, to revive them. The light has been over top for 1-2 weeks. I watered the plants. Nothing happening!

Watermelon Germination using Grow Burst

I normally use Jiffy group Grow lights which work well .I am using them for another small greenhouse with Watermelon seeds that have germinated . the growburst is different .Its made well .the group of Watermelons used with the blue light for Vegetables is doing well the seeds germinated and i like that you have three lights that are adjustable..if you follow the directions its easy to use. Those that complain about no adapter for the cord that comes with it .you can get USB adapters anywhere. ...

Won't Turn on

Yup, I should have read the fine print and all the reviews that aren't part of paid promotion. It won't turn on without a USB adapter, yet it won't work with any of the adapters that I have in the house. So, I'm debating whether to return it or attempt to find the proper adapter. Shouldn't have purchased it.

Works great

I would have given 5 stars, except there is nothing on the box letting one know about needing USB power to operate. Other than that, it works just fine. Do hold power button down for 2 seconds per instructions to turn on and off. Read the instructions and it works.

If you want it to stay on longer than the times shown, you will need to physically press the on/off button. Not very convenient if you have other lights on an actual 24hr timer. Also noticed that almost all reviews were part of a promotion, obviously making the reviews a lot higher than deserved.

USB only!

I like the Compact size. Doesn’t tell you that it is USB only! Timer only had 3-6-9 hour settings.

Misleading

Grow light works okay, but the box didn't say anywhere that a DC plug wasn't included. At the end of the cord is a USB which is very inconvenient, and you'll have to buy DC wall plugs somewhere else. The timers also can only be set to either 3, 6, or 9 hours a day which is ridiculous, other grow lights that I've owned can be set up to 12 hours a day. It's light output is also on the lower side. For $40, I do not at all think this grow light is worth it. Save your money and buy something else.
