What Customers Are Saying
The compression cap is generally an effective product for sealing off water lines, valves, and other plumbing fittings. Many users found it worked as expected to stop leaks and facilitate home renovation projects. The cap was often easy to install, requiring just a washer or Teflon tape to create a reliable seal. However, some users reported issues with the cap not fitting properly or leaking without additional components. Overall, the majority of reviews were positive, with customers finding the cap to be a practical solution for their plumbing needs.

Would RecommendUsed this to cap off a angle stop that both couldn't be desoldiered nor completely shut off. Only thing i will say is keep turning, the seal doesn't seal until it is ratcheted down pretty tight. Im an able bodied 39 year old so it requires some elbow grease.

Didn't mention needing a gasket or "teflon tape"
The cap itself fit, but it leaked and it needed something else to stop that water. I used thread seal tape (sometimes called "teflon tape"), and it was pain to put on in the cramped location. I've since read that a gasket (rubber-like or otherwise) also works. I think at minimum there should be a warning, or maybe it could be packaged with a gasket.
way over priced
Would Not Recommendover priced brass cap for $4
