Great rivet gun, but the drill bits in the kit broke on first use…

I used this to replace some hinges on an outdoor metal trellis and it is perfect for the job. I really needed something like this to repair furniture with metal parts and my ancient pop rivet gun was too light duty to accomplish the task. This one looks like it will provide good service for the rest of my life. The only complaint is that the 3/16” drill bit broke right away.

Quality tool.

Used it to repair the mesh grill on a John Deere compact tractor. Did the job.

Ease of use

I found the rivet gun exceptionally easy to use. The tool is very easy to set up and the amount of reading needed to use it correctly took no more than 5 minutes. The interchanging noozle which are color coded are easy to interchange and use.

Worked great for fastening metal parts

Versatile, easy to use

LASTED ONLY ONE (1) WEEK

I purchased this product from a prominent building supply store after my first Arrow rivet gun quit working. Arrow had a tag on the product for me to get a free storage caddy with my purchase and review, so I decided to give an honest review. At the time, I thought I was buying a good product and I initially was happy with it. Unfortunately, however, the rivet gun only lasted ONE WEEK. Just one week! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS TOOL. Because I needed another rivet gun right away and I WAS NOT...

Bought this for a craft project and it was very good for the job.

ONLY HELD UP ONE WEEK

I am on my third rivet gun. The other two did not hold up. The last one only lasted one week. I cannot find another brand.

Easy To Use, Works Excellently

Used this tool along with a variety pack of rivets from Arrow to do some general repairs for lawncare tools. Works very well, and is easy to use.

Good for attaching things together permanently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The RT189K Rivet Tool is the second Rivet Tool I've bought over the years. It is also the best. Although I just bought it yesterday, I had a project I needed to get done then. The RT189K handled the job with ease. Also, using a steel 5mm Rivet, my 76 year old hand was able to set it with little exertion. So far I love my new RT189K River Tool.

Excellent Tool, Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this rivet gun to connect two pieces of plastic; worked perfectly. Our original intent was to use self-tapping screws but thought the rivet would be safer as there would not be any protruding screw points when completed. The self-ratcheting system was a breeze to use (one-handed operation) and a lot less cumbersome than the typical style of pop rivet gun. The model we purchased came with 4 interchangeable 'heads', 100 rivets (4 sizes)...

Exactly what i needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a way to fasten a drawer slide to some metal siding and there was no way to get back behind the metal except for a screw hole. So nuts and bolts were out. and with nothing else to secure to on the other side screws were out. Rivets were my savior and the riveter worked perfectly!
