Great quality, easy to use

Although I just purchased this rt189k a few days ago, I’ve already used it a half a dozen times, and it is definitely a quality made tool. I purchased this specific tool, because most of my riveting Should be one handed But until I found this tool, it was very cumbersome and time-consuming using a traditional style rivet gun. I have a traditional style, rivet gun and it works great, but this rivet gun is it better choice for one hand jobs.

Best One Handed Riveter

Very easy to use and versatile, will accept many different size rivets. I highly recommend this product for the do it yourselfer, it does not matter your personal skill level.

Excellent one handed operation

Purchased this product to do some simple projects. Selected this model for the one handed operation feature. Very simple and handy to use for holding a piece in place prior to setting the rivet!

Works well once you get used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never read the instructions...wish I did...would have saved hours of frustration...worked perfectly the first time....but then it wouldn't let go of the shank.. I dismantled the tool and put it back together several times.....finally I figured out you have to pull the handle forward to reset the tool and have it release the shank.

Fantastic for working under the dash for vehicle repairs

Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this riveter as a replacement. I was curious about the one hand rachet technology. Im not to sold on that it really requires more than one hand as the tension increases on the rivet. Especially if you are using steel rivets. Overall pretty nifty concept.

Good for Seat Plaques

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 'popped' about 10 - 1/8" rivets the other day and found that when the riveter 'worked' it worked well. However, on about 1/2 of them the 'jaws' didn't seem to be grabbing the rivet at all. I eventually finished up the project but the rivet gun was relatively unimpressive to use.
