We recently had a big snowfall amount (14”), and after a few years of saving & research, I decided to buy this Ariens 30” Snowblower to replace my 24”, 179cc Cr******n. Unreliable

When its running, it's a good machine, but the fuel injector died the 3rd time I tried to start it. Two years later, after about 15 uses, the started is dead. I did not misuse the starter. It just started grinding...dead.

Good Snowthrower, Bad delivery service.

The Product so far has worked well and I am happy. But Lowes Delivery Department needs to be revamped. They lost the item on the first try to deliver it, then they found a substaute but could not deliver it because it had a diffrent model number. This snow thrower is well built, easy to assemble, and has many nice features. The turn assist makes steering the unit a breeze. Contrary to the listed specifications, this unit does come with heated handle grips. Also, there are two, spare auger sheer bolts.

Bought this last year to maintain my 250yd long driveway and another short steep driveway to a cabin. This machine has been without flaw! We got dumped on here in Alaska last year and we already over 50% of our average yearly snowfall fall and its only November. No worries for this snowblower though, it powers though the deep stuff and throws it a good distance. Worth every penny!

DO NOT BUY. There's a core design flaw with drive belt pulley, that causes drive belt to come off frequently and snowblower won't drive

I used this snowblower one season about 5 or 6 times. Then during the second winter season using the snowblower, I have had continual problems with the drive belt coming off the drive belt pulley, which results in the snowblower not driving or moving. There is a core engineering design flaw with how the drive belt pulley is improperly positioned at an angle. I live in the North Country of New York and receive wet heavy snow from time to time. In the past season my Ariens' was able to remove 4 nor'easter type storms with no problem. The deluxe had ample horse power to clear heavy snow at an appropriate speed and cut through the giant crud piles at the end of my drive way left behind by the snow plows with no problem. This snow blower is amazing! I previously had a PowerSmart snow blower that could not handle the deep heavy snow in the central Sierra Nevada's in California. With its overpowering bright orange paint, this snowblower has to be ranked one of the ugliest on the market. I mean it has the personality of a 1960s farm tractor. What a beast of a machine!

Wow what a great snowblower!! Throws wet heavy snow no problem. My only gripe is the one hand interlock was not working, after contacting Airens I was told shave hand grips down, nada, then another call I was told to shave the auger cam down to get it catch, that worked but that a temporary fix, Airens do you have a permanent fix coming out?? With cam shaved down I don’t see it lasting long!
