Did not use yet but when I went back to Lowe’s The next day to buy Adrien’s silicone spray they had a newer model for the same price I should’ve waited a week to buy

Meets the minimum snow needs

This is a lighter weight blower for tight walkway spaces and storing. The huge seller Is the auto steer feature that saves your back! I'd never go without the auto steer again. The blower has the engine power to cut through drifts and deeper snow and slush. There was no rpm losses like smaller compact engines. Synthetic feet and light upgrades are avaliable.

Amazing machine...chute direction lever could be better located!

Amazing machine...just wished the chute direction lever would be more accessible....a bit of a pain when you need to use it often.

Very effective machine

It finally snowed here and I used my Ariens SnoThro for the 1st time. It saved a lot of effort. The machine has plenty of power and fires the snow a good distance. It's easy to operate and start with an electric start. Turning is also fairly easy . Mostly it's a question of steering the machine where you want it. Easily Handles Buffalo Lake Effect Snow

Live on the West Seneca/Orchard Park border. Just cleared 48 inches of wet heavy snow in my driveway and cleared the driveway aprons of 6 of my neighbors from the snow pushed by the town highway plow (wet, heavy, and icy). Plows thru snow that is over the top of my machine and throws it up and over the 6ft snow banks. The free wheeling turning is a plus. This machine is a beast and all my neighbors are glad I have an Ariens!

Does the job. Not as powerful as my old 8 Hp, 28" wide Ariens but much lighter and easier to handle. Rotating shoot angle much worse than old crank method under control panel.. No heated handles??? My fault I should have checked before I bought it. I 'assumed' a 'Delux' model would at least have heated handles.

Would not purchase again

I have a 24-in compact. All the snow does is pile up in front of the chute and never even makes it to the blade. Even if I'm just trying to blow 2 in of powder.

I had a 20 year old 2 stage, but it wasn't throwing snow very far, and would not throw heavy snow at all. I purchased this machine last year. The difference is night and day. I grew up with Ariens snowblowers and lawn mowers, so I bought a new Deluxe 24 in 2015 after moving to Maine. My driveway was worn out gravel until 2019 when I finally paved it. Retired my old 15-year-old snow king and bought this 24" deluxe version in mid-November 2022. Living in Winnipeg MB this year have used it 6 + times and is only January. Just waiting for it to snow because I'm having a blast doing my driveway plus the neighbors. Pull starts easy even with bad shoulders. Electric start is super-fast to get it going. I have only had 1 opportunity to use my new Ariens Deluxe 24 Snowblower. It has lots of power, throws snow a long way, easy to start, and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is that it left about a half inch of snow on the driveway and sidewalk. I'm sure that this is just because how the scraper blade and/or skid shoes were adjusted by whoever installed them at the factory or dealer. This snow blower is easy to maneuver around turns with the “Auto-Turn” feature. Navigating my driveway is night and day compared to my old snow blower. It has no problem moving lots of snow. It is also able to handle slushy snow without clogging. The placement of the chute crank take some getting used to but easily changes direction. Very easy to start with one pull although I used the electric start mostly.

Just bought the Deluxe24 with some accessories; heated hand grips, weight kit, and cover. My only concern so far is the longevity of the heated hand grips. I installed per the instructions and they worked as designed, BUT, I think the Ariens Design Team could have made better clearance for the wires under the control panel mechanical linkages and the auger/speed levers when squeezed to avoid being pinched or scuffed. I don't have a lot of confidence that the grips will last as long at the ma...

I bought this Deluxe 24 snowthrower four years ago and this is my third Ariens snowthrower. (The first two were the Classic versions and worked well but were given to relatives with back or cardiac issues.)
