Well Made in the USA

Have not used it yet, but easy to start and maneuver, important since this is for my adult daughter. First one delivered with missing part. Contacted Lowes and replacement snowblower delivered a few days later.

Looks great

I really like this snow blower. Haven't used it but I think it will do the the job. I have the Classic model that's about 11 years old still works great. The new Deluxe model looks like the same build quality. Delivery went great. It was assembled, oil in the engine and ready to go.

Good performance, but difficult maintenance

I bought this unit 2 years ago. Overall, the unit performs very well and does what it is supposed to do. I give it 5 stars on performance and 1 star on maintenance. I am not a DIY mechanic. The only easy part of the annual maintenance is the oil change and various spring lubrications. It’s apparent to me that the designers of this machine did not consider the ease of maintenance. Amazing product

Extremely disappointed purchased

I purchased an Ariens Deluxe 28 Snowblower on November 28th 2021 for a Christmas gift for my father for a total of $1,875. I read good reviews about Ariens and I like to support USA made products whenever possible. Unfortunately Ariens has lost my faith and any future business from me. My father got to use his new Snowblower 3 times in 21-22 on the 4th time the Snowblower's governor broke causing the engine to over-rev. Great purchase!

I bought this back in January 2025 to replace a machine that had lasted me 23 years, so I was a little concerned as to what todays machines had to offer. I was totally surprised by this machine. Had to get used to the controls being opposite of the old one (left vs right side), but that didn't take long. Has been totally worth the investment. Would recommend this to anyone interested in a gas powered machine.

Does not function right out of the box

Generally easy to put together - but it is not ready to use. Auger will not disengage and Ariens solution is for me to take it apart and adjust it before I can even use it. For this kind of money it should work correctly at startup.

I bought it 5 years ago and still running like a new one. Regular maintenance, no problems, enough power. I’m very satisfied.

It's OK, but there are some things that are pretty irritating. First, this thing is loud. Even louder in deep or heavy snow. Get yourself some earmuffs. Second, no throttle lever, so if someone is trying to talk to you, you gotta shut it off. It can be difficult to restart right after. Also, gas tank is very small, so a throttle lever to bring the idle speed down would be nice. The auto steer is ok, but only helps on very smooth surfaces. Only moves in circles

Power only goes to one wheel - the other one spins freely when the transmission is engaged. It pulls very hard to one side and only wants to go in circles. I could not get a human on the phone or via the web at the manufacturer company after trying for almost 2 hours.

Best bang for the buck.

Easy assembly. Can feel the quality when in use. Easy pull start. Happy with the purchase so far.

Tracking and deliver date fail

Show get it by 1/16/25, show (Arriving Today) on 1/14 and 1/15 now just stay with shipped. Call customer service person on 1/15 told me is out for deliver will receive phone call around 3pm to 4pm, I don't even know how this person get the information. I regret give him all top rate survey.

Nice machine!

Very well engineered machine. Works extremely well and could not be improved to function any better.
