Not as wide as you may have been expecting

It was 2 " narrower than the same type I had bought at Lowes a few years ago. It appears the manufacturer decided to show the overall width instead of the interior width.

I have had this exact mailbox for 30 years now and it is still going strong even in the hot South Texas heat. Repainted my red and yellow flag a few times and armor all the box to freshen it up because I am picky and like it to look new, but I would definitely recommend this box. Perfect size

It is big enough to hold small packages without them being crammed in. My favorite feature is the lever under the red flag. Super sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just about the most perfect mailbox I could have asked for. It's made out of a nice strong thick weather resistant plastic. It's built nice and sturdy and was super easy to attach to my existing mailbox pole. The hinges on the door are nice and it stays closed without any issues.

I like the double flags. Could be stronger

I like the product itself, but would like if it were reinforced to withstand some more lateral force. I had to replace the one I installed 18 months ago because the force of snow from the plow broke it beyond repair. I also would like it if in store pickup were available instead of special ordering it.

Comes pre-assembled, very easy to install on an existing 2x4 or 4x4 cross-piece, just needs four screws 1-1/2" or longer. Really fast and easy to install. Would have given five stars, but bought this one to replace the same model, on which the door was hit and broke off (I suspect it was open and the mailman pulled up too close and hit it).
