Great magnetic latch!

Needed the magnetic door latch to battle the wind that used to blow open my flimsy plastic box's door, taking my mail with it. Works great!

Product arrived damaged

I finally got around to installing my new mailbox and after opening the box I noticed that the front edge was chipped. According to the manufacturer that's "not a manufacturer defect". "It's a shipping defect" which they don't stand behind. The mailbox was in their packaging which has no extra spacing. Almost got a good mailbox needed extra things.

Liked: heavy material, size, glossy. Disliked: box picture, user guide, and online details did not match up. Cheap aluminum type screws broke, box picture did not show uses rubber stoppers to lift off post, mailbox not sealed on inside as had two square holes in back, and as lifted off the post, two circular holes in bottom would allow insects in. Solid Box

This is a heavy duty mailbox! I love the magnetic door catch and the fact that the door is weather protected, being under the hood of the box itself.

This mailbox is very sturdt and well built. Due to the original post that existed which included an inegrated newapaper box to mount to, we were offered challenges, but we worked through them and are very pleased with the end result.

Very nice mailbox

Very well made and sturdy. Not sure why the large holes in the back corners of the mail box though. I closed them up with some Gorilla tape on the side to keep wasps out in the summer.

Built like a Sherman Tank

Old mailbox latch was missing, door kept falling open, mail getting wet, was rusted and faded. So I spent the extra money and got one that’ll last and looks good doing it. This bad boy weighs 17 lbs.! It’s heavy, black, shiny and sleek. Heavier gauge than usual, that’s actually welded together. Highly recommend!
