Would Not RecommendThis mailbox looks solid, but the locking door offers enough purchase for a thief to use a crowbar on it. My box is now damaged to the point that it’ll need to be replaced (I’ll be buying a different mailbox)
The most secure mail box I’ve ever purchased, and the price was great!!
Outstanding function and quality
Would RecommendOur mail has been stolen with increasing frequency. I spent several days looking online for locking mailboxes with drop boxes that could accept packages and magazines. All the ones I found that met my requirements were over $300. I was in Lowe's to pick up something else, when I saw this little beauty. It has every feature you would need, no way to stick your arm in and get the mail out after it's dropped, it accepts magazines, and small packages. It has a way to leave mail for the carrier to p...

Oasis Locking Mailbox
Would RecommendI purchased the Oasis Extra Large Locking Mailbox. For extra security, I mounted it on a brick pedestal which I built, using a total of 360 lbs of concrete and mortar mix in the footing and center of the bricks with rebar. I’m very happy with the looks and functionality of this mailbox. With the rise of stolen mail, I have peace of mind my mail will be waiting for me when I get home. I highly recommend a locking mailbox and I highly recommend the Oasis.
Worth the price and then some!
Would RecommendI bot this mailbox in 2018 when I moved into a new house because it sits on a county road 1/2 mile from my house and I was worried that someone would take our mail (it happens often where we live). Last week I found that someone had tried pretty hard to get into the box, breaking the handle off the delivery slot, and bending the frame prying the door, but was not able to get into it. The doors and frame were damaged to the point that It wouldn't open so I removed it to bring home to get the ma...

plan ahead hiw to attach this
Would RecommendNot everyone has a standard post to attach this to. There are several holes in the bottom of the box, and I suppose you could drill more, but there might be a concern about rust and stregth if you do. It took a lot of messing with it to get it attached, but it works fine so far.
Does its job, worth the money
Would RecommendThis is our second purchase of this mailbox. The first one survived prying attempts and a shotgun. Mail was still safe and sound inside. It's also a nice size opening so it fits small packages.
Bought this box to replace an earlier design which had a single light duty locking tab and had been broken into twice. This box has 3 locking points and sides of door are formed to make it difficult to get a pry bar in. On our road all the older boxes were broken into but none of the boxes of this design were touched. You could see the tire marks in the light snow we had over night but they just bypassed all of these boxes.
