Would RecommendThe unit has locking pins that connect to both sides. The unit was able to survive someone trying to pry it open. The units with just the locking tab on top can be easily pried open.
thin metal not theft proof
Would Not Recommendsomeone pried the door open on this mailbox but luckily we remove the mail every day so there was nothing for them to steal. The door metal is very weak and the company should look into reinforcing the door or making it with stronger materials. I was able to easily bend it back but now it will no longer be weatherproof. we are looking for a stronger option

Would Not RecommendI'm not sure what sort of thieves these people that are giving the mailbox 5 starts have, but mine was broken into really easily. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Would RecommendIt’s great that the box can take small packages, however, I would have preferred a gray color, rather than black. Pollen and dirt really show up on the black surface.

Would RecommendThis is the same model as my old one but this box is stronger and has updated security features. The reason I'm giving it two stars, the mailbox has obvious defects. It's dented on the top and the door is not level. QC inspector #4 let it ship anyways.
Extra keys hassle
Would Not RecommendMailbox is fine. I had to go to a locksmith for extra keys. But I had to order blanks from the company then take them to the locksmith for processing. Ridiculous!
Worthless- don’t waste your money
Would Not RecommendNot secure. Thieves destroyed ours without too much effort. Go get a cardboard box instead
