This is a great mailbox except that someone should have told Lowes that it will be used outdoors, which means making the cotter pines out of material that won't rust. Both pivot pins fell out due to the retention cotter pins rusting.

Great for mail and large packages

Mail nolonger folded up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mail box. It's a nice bronze color and large enough for catalogs and big envelopes. It always seemed before that my mail would get folded in half and shoved into my box. Now it arrives nicely and there is even room for small packages, which I get often. It's sturdy and well made.
