Works for XL mailbox
Installation was tricky on a post with a crossbar. It's really hard to access the nuts for the mounting screws for the mailbox-to-bracket. As others have said the screws that come with this bracket are cheap. The wood screw head broke while using a hand drill. It would be good to get your own high quality screws if planning to use a drill. It uses four #8 x 1 3/4 inch wood screws. Attached are the installation instructions for reference as well.

Would RecommendI bought a Century Blue Mail Manager from Mail Boss and it didn’t come with a mount bracket but said I could purchase a piece of wood to mount it, if I wanted. I found this mount at Lowe’s. I read the reviews and everyone said the hardware/screws included were horrible so I just bought some 10x1 steel flat screws (Item #: 325143) for $6 and used them!
