Two Broken Nets, No More
Would Not RecommendI like the size of this but I have purchased two and they both broke. The issue is the joint where the pole joins the net. At the critical stress point the manufacturer drilled a hole through the plastic and put in a retaining rivet. This creates a weak point where the pole snaps easily. Only a matter of time if you own one. I'm not inclined to waste my money again unless I see a change in design. Would Not RecommendIt made through 1 Summer. I’m going to invest in a metal framed type that I had previous to this. The metal frame outlasted the netting which eventually tore. Word of advice. Dont expect great wings from a fast food pizza chain. It’s not what they do. Same lesson I learned when buying this pool piece from Lowe’s; it was what it was.

Would Not RecommendI bought one last summer in August and this spring in April it just broke under normal use. Its like the plastic had some sort of strength reduction through the winter having been outside hanging up on the fence and it just cracked. May need to spring for something metal at the connection point.
Great light weight but not heavy duty skimmer
Would RecommendBought this about a year ago because of it's light weight. Works perfectly without hurting my bad shoulder! It is not a heavy duty skimmer so I never overload it like our other steel enforced skimmers. Picks up great.

Would RecommendYes I need a net for my pool but the real reason I got this was to harvest pears that were to high up for me to reach. Did an awesome job. I could get half a dozen pears in before I brought it down and put them in a basket. Oh and it works great in the pool. Hope this helps!
Dang Squirrels!
Would RecommendI must have gotten a good one because I bought one of these last summer. Used it up until the end of this August when it was left hanging on the fence and squirrels shredded the netting. I'll be getting another soon. Dang Squirrels.
