What Customers Are Saying
The pool skimmer net has mixed reviews, with some praising its large capacity, wide mouth, and effectiveness in collecting leaves and debris, while others criticize its lack of durability. Many customers report the plastic frame and net material tend to break or tear after relatively short periods of use, even with normal handling. The net is described as performing well in skimming and scooping up pool debris, but the lack of long-term durability is a significant drawback for many users.

Would RecommendI had an older sturdier version of this net. This one is a little more flexible, but works great I king up leaves from the bottom of the pool.
Easy to use
Would RecommendThe wind ruined my previous skimmer and I needed one ASAP Lowes had one in stock and I was able to get it online and get my military discount. It was very timely.

Pool skimmer
Would RecommendI'm not sure if it was the construction materials of the net, or the debris in my pool, but after about 6 uses, the net has torn in two places. It still works for leaves and larger debris, but a bit disappointed that it tore so soon after purchase.

good and well made
Would RecommendI had one of these for a long time, probably more than five years. Then some critter ( likely asquirrel) tore it up. Works well, deep net, holds some weight. I use mine to clean leaves and algae from my koi pond. Easy to attach and detach.
Net holes bigger than usual, pole locking unusual
Would RecommendI like the flat lip on the front of the net as is makes it easy to scoop things off the bottom of the pool. The net itself does not have the same tight weave I am accustomed to. The section that inserts into the pole has two push buttons. One has an oval shape (closest to net) and the other the traditional round style. The Oval one does not fit in standard round holes on the pole so the pole does not insert all the way in. In my opinion it makes the net neck more vulnerable to breaking. On...

only adequate
Would Not RecommendI was happy Lowe's had this available when mine broke. However it is inferior to what I was using and prefer. It has enormous drag to it when pulled thru the water due to its large surface area flat faced design. The net isn't very fine, but screens well enough I suppose. But what I dislike the most is that it is terrible at scooping stuff off the bottom of the pool. It appears to have a nice shovel blade that should slide under stuff, but it doesn't do that well at all. And it flexes a lo...
