Well made and so they are stiff.

These hoses are well constructed. Because of this they are a little stiff. I used 90 degree brass elbows to remove as much stress on the tank and pipe fittings. They work as expected. Installed on a tall 40 gallon water heater.

replacement water supply connector

Not everyone carries this 3/4 by 3/4 connector hose. sturdy, and works. Matbe I should be trying Lowes first instead of the closer hardware store, and save the trip mileage and time.

Works as it should

I did purchase this item to replace one of my hoses at my water heater, it does well.

Great upgrade option

My cold water inlet hose sprung a leak after 4 years. I tried to tighten the leaking hose but that only made it worse due to the additional movement. My local Lowe's rep suggested this steel braided hose as a replacement due to it's better flexibility, strength and resistance to kinking. Installed the new hose within minutes and everything has been running great.
