Would RecommendI have 2 of these and I greased the inside water connections and replaced the washers once when new and have had perfect performance from this item. Worth every penny. This Spring I will do it again if needed.

Steel screws
Fortunately this new reel mounting holes matched up with my old plastic reel. Unfortunately all the assembly and mounting screws are steel instead of stainless which would hold up better in a wet environment.

Would Not RecommendWoke up to my new heavy-duty hose on the ground cause it caused the old hose mount (plastic) to break.I went to ole Lowes to replace it with something more sturdy. What good is a hose if it poisons you with lead
Would Not RecommendI was excited to install this handsome, sturdy hose reel. It seemed like the most durable option in the store, so I ponied up almost $100.00 and brought it home. Opened it up, read the instructions and there are warnings about lead in the coupler. Says not to drink from the hose, not to put it in your mouth, to make sure to wash yourself after handling etc. What if I want to water my garden? What if I want to fill a pool for my daughter or let her run through the sprinkler? Can’t do it, lead. ...
Solidly built nice looking wall unit
Would RecommendThis is well built and easily installed. The template did not match the holes precisely. The manufactured product had one hole slightly off. Luckily it was off enough to allow a new hole to be drilled. I recommend using your actual product as a template instead of the one provided since the assembly can apparently vary.
The best hose solution
Would RecommendI love the first one I bought so much that I bought a second one to put on the other side of the house. What a great solution to having the hose laying all over the ground in our walkway no longer be a problem. So easy to unwind and rewind!
