Just don't!!!

If I could give this -10 stars, I would. I just sanded and primed 15 cabinet doors front and back just to have to go back and fill in little dimple marks left by these monstrous little products, not just in the primer, but right down into the wood, these are very sharp! What kind of a terrible design is that? What a waste of time and money.

Only Good For Certain Projects

I used these and the points marked my cabinet doors. I don't recommend using these with softer woods like cherry. They may work safely on steel doors, or possibly if you are spray painting, but don't do any sanding, steel wooling, or hand rub finishing of wood supported by these. Also, what's with the ten pack? What can you do with two of these? I notice a lot of people are happy with them. I'm missing something.

Painting tents

I regularly use this tents in my crafting business. I use them to stand off craft pieces that I epoxy. The only recommendation I would make is that some kin of coating, perhaps rubberized be put on the tent legs. The epoxy pools around the legs, then cures. They then cannot be removed from the hardened epoxy.

Wobbly

Bought these to hold up wood while epoxying them. Yes they hold it up but they are shaky and takes a hand to hold the wood steady while spreading. I haven't nailed them in since I wanted to be able to easily move around. If I did I'm sure they work better but just feel I shouldn't have to do that.

A nice addition

If you have small multisided items to paint these are ideal and easy to store when not in use

Ok don't mistake the 10 for perfect. You get 10 in the package. I am painting cabinet doors. 4 per door. So why 10? I give 4 stars because they work and subtracted a star for the number of pieces that you receive that would make them all useful.

Really like having sides available to paint without globbing bottom edge! Would like them a bit larger.

Exactly what I needed

Used them to hold up little jewelry boxes while staining and finishing. The lowest cost solution, and worked perfectly!

What Did I Do Before...

This product is invaluable when painting. I am currently painting kitchen cabinet doors and just ordered more Tripods to get me through the job. No damage to already painted areas that have not had the time to cure.

These little guys are a PEFECT addition to your painting war chest! They are great for those times you need to paint two sides of a surface. I used them while priming and painting my cabinets! They are so useful!
