Use caution!

I bought these because I am gel staining my kitchen cabinets and wanted something to set the doors on so they were elevated to get the edges and then to dry. If you only use these points for drying they are fine. I made the mistake of thinking I could do the actual application of the stain while the doors were on the triangles. Good with one caveat

We have a big kitchen so when it came time to paint the thirty-something cabinet doors we have, I jumped on anything that could help keep things moving smoothly. These are great paint/stain/finish tripods!

These little tripods are perfect for use in getting a piece "off the table" while painting, staining and/or finishing the piece. Their small size allows you to use them to support items of odd size and shape (see photo). So Easy to Paint

Wow absolutely love these so very happy using these to hold up my cabinets doors. When they were dried I even put them between the doors when I stood them up. Until I got ready to out them back on. Just love these made my painting a lot easier now . yea. I even put 4 under the cutting board in the kitchens to raise it. Gonna leave them there. Yea so happy

Only Good For Certain Projects

I used these and the points marked my cabinet doors. I don't recommend using these with softer woods like cherry. They may work safely on steel doors, or possibly if you are spray painting, but don't do any sanding, steel wooling, or hand rub finishing of wood supported by these. Also, what's with the ten pack? What can you do with two of these? I notice a lot of people are happy with them. I'm missing something.

Not bad for the price.

I used these under some long 1x8's for priming and paint. I found them a bit slippery on the bottom when I was painting. I also found them a bit "tippy" when they were on a more tractable surface. Even though they are shaped in the form of tetrahedron, they must be used in a particular orientation.

Just don't!!!

If I could give this -10 stars, I would. I just sanded and primed 15 cabinet doors front and back just to have to go back and fill in little dimple marks left by these monstrous little products, not just in the primer, but right down into the wood, these are very sharp! What kind of a terrible design is that? What a waste of time and money.

These work great!

These work great for any project that involves painting and or any kind of finishing. It allows you to paint the top and or bottom and the side without having it stick to the surface underneath. These are sooooo handy! Highly Recommend!

Been looking for these at Home Dumbo....no luck. Lowes, fortunately has them! They are great for elevating panels to paint. Use care to begin on the rear side of your panels; allow to dry fully. Then flip your panels and finish painting the other side. There will be some pin marks from the tripods on the rear side... Easily touched up with very lite sanding, 320 grit min. touch-up with a Q-Tip.
