Old one broke and i wanted another one Read the reviews and found this s lowes. Goo d price easy to set up and use and easy to read allt the temps and weather conds.I find it fun to get up in the moring and look at it and know how to dress fot that day. Goiid buy

Would not recommend

Very difficult to read unless the lights in the room are very low and you're looking at the device straight on. Would definitely not recommend this unit.

Best Weather Station

The data is accurate, the screen is easy to read, look at it multiple times a day.

Too dim

Can’t see in normal light. Screen is basically black unless you get right on top of it. Not happy that it can’t be seen across the room.

Works well, inside temp is 3degrees higher then AC thermo, and if it is on my fireplace and I have to look up to see it you cant read it (screen can only be read if looking stright on.

Easy set-up, does what it is suppose to

Very easy to set-up. Has everything I wanted and is beautiful.

Partially accurate yet useful

Setup is easy and fast, simply choosing daylight saving time or not, and setting time and date. Display is bright and easy to read. Outside temperature and humidity as well as inside temperature and humidity are accurate. Moon phase segment is accurate. Keeps time and date accurately. However as a weather forecaster it is mainly useless. After waiting the full 14 days for the algorithm to complete setup, it is depicting clouds with thunderstorms and rain...with a bright sunny sky outside. Overal...

AcuRite Weather Station with Wireless outdoor Sens

We purchased our first weather station on July 10. It took a while to set up the station. The instructions are not as good as needed. I am still trying to figure out how to set the inside humidity reading. Other than that. It has worked fine.
