Great assist as needed

I bought this to help me stand out of a chair. My wife or someone had to help me stand as I could then walk with a walker. It did what I wanted in assisting me to stand by myself without an added boost. This is a great assisting support.

A Little Bit of Help

I purchased this product to aid my husband in lifting himself from the only chair he is able to use in our home. I knew it wouldn't fit perfectly as it is a very old but sturdy chair and the Stand Assist sticks out beyond the chair a bit, but the handles create additional "arms" for my husband to use. I only wish it had the option to raise the arms/handles higher, but otherwise it is a very smartly designed product.

Good for helping to stand up

My wife has bad knees which make's it hard for her to get up from setting on the couch. Since I bought this Universal Stand Assist it makes it alot easier for her to get up.

Gives the support needed to push up out of chair

My mother and myself are very satisfied with how adjustable and supportive the Stand Assist is in helping to lift her from sitting from her chair or the couch.

Up we go

Due to a back injury, my husband was finding it hard to rise from a sitting position. When we saw the Universal Stand Assist we thought to give it a try. I has been a big help in assisting in get up from a seated position with no pain to his back. The only problem I found with it was that it did not go low enough for our couch but after putting the couch on risers it works like a dream.

Chair stand assist

Has been a godsend for my husband, who can get out of his chair independently. Bought a 2nd one for another chair he uses in another room. My right arm is now healing, because I am not lifting him anymore.

Great feature

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble

I bought this for my 87 yr old father after he fell and broke his hip. He wasn’t ready for a lift chair so this was a good first step. The construction is very sturdy and it was easy to assemble. It adapts to about any chair or couch so can move it around later if needed.

I ordered the Stand Assist for my mother who was having difficulty getting out of her recliner. The Stand Assist works perfectly for her and provides excellent support for both sitting down and getting up from the recliner.
