I was having difficulty getting up from the sofa, but after installing the stand assist, it was much easier and faster for me to reach a standing position. It is a great help.

It Works!

So helpful after surgery!

My husband just had hip replacement surgery and I knew he would need help getting up from the couch for awhile. This product was perfect! He uses it to raise up from the couch to get to his walker. Thank you for this product! Easy to put together also.

Speedy movement!

We bought this for my grandma to assist in her getting up off the recliner. We couldn't believe how fast she transitioned from sitting to standing because she usually moves very slowly. She loved it so much she broke a sweat as she kept practicing and enjoying how it sped everything up!

So far it's been good, but unsure if I will work with a recliner chair, doesn't work when the chair is all the way up.

Seems good, will see over time

Just purchased for a 91 year old to assist in and out of a recliner. The chair design makes it difficult to get the bars in place so they hold, but it appears it will be ok. Since it was just purchased we haven't had time to see how well it works. First couple of tests were good though so hoping it continues that way.

Stand assist

This was for my mother's recliner but I think a problem is that the recliner is low, making it difficult to get up, and the handle bars were too high. They need to be even lower and we had it on the lowest hole. It's good quality and will work with something a little highee.

The stand assist is a great advantage for me ! It gives my husband the ability to stand my himself without my assistance. He also makes it to the bathroom on time ! He is able to sit down in his chair, without falling into it.

My husband has Alzheimer's which has dramatically affected his mobility and balance and overall muscle strength--he is at a very high risk of falls too. He has a lot of difficulty when trying to get out of a recliner/couch to a stand position as well as safely sitting to a standing position which is getting hard as he can't really help at all. We are both in our 70s and I am his full-time care giver. I have to "lift" him out of the chair and also have to hold him to help him lower into the cha...
