Would Not RecommendApplied product liberally to mound and to a long trail of ants proceeding from that mound. 24 hrs later, no change at all (except ants walking around Amdro granules). Applied Spectricide Fire Ant Mount Destroyer -- mound dead within 30 minutes. Bottle says "Guaranteed to work or your money back" but there is no method to redeem this guarantee. Hollow marketing ploy.

Would RecommendBeen using this in fireants in NW florida for about 4 years now. Soon as I see a mound i cover it with the granuals. Usually in 2 days they are done.....occasionally a big mound needs a double treating. I would recommend it highly as I have tried many other methods and they never work or require watering and other such nuances. This stuff is easy to apply and works 99% of the time.

Would RecommendI am not sure how people are having trouble with this? All you do is sprinkle some near a mound (I actually cover the hole, ooops) and I put a brick or cone over it. Next morning there are dead ants just outside the mound and they NEVER RETURN!!! Literally overnight! I accidentally left my bottle out and one of my dogs chewed on the top. I wasn't sure how much they got and I started t panic. I am a vet tech and was horribly upset with myself, but I went into research mode- Turns out the LD50 (th...

Amdro is the best for handling seasonal fire ants!
Would RecommendGenerally, at the beginning of Fire Ant season, there are specials and displays with many options. But since this is supposed to be about Amdro. It works great, and we use it and need to use it! Our only disappointment was Lowe's having only this option when we were here to buy Amdro.
